That’s right! Just eat everything you can get your paws on, really stuff yourself then just lazy around doing nothing while you get lean and muscle toned.

No, I don’t mean someone who plays for the Chicago NFL team. You actually have to be a bear.
Researchers are trying to discover why bears do not suffer bone loss or develop flabby muscles when they hibernate. They believe a hormone or other chemical that bears possess might be responsible and can help us humans avoid bone and muscle loss.
(By the way, bears do wake up and shift around inside their den. This helps prevent pressure sores from developing and to better conserve heat. In coldest climates bears may hibernate for 8 months; in warm climates maybe only 2 months).
